AVENGERS, AGAIN

Woke up this morning early than usual or anticipated and decided SCREW CLEANING AND ERRANDS AND STUFF, I'M SEEING AVENGERS AGAIN.

AND. Just as good the second time around! Slightly more subdued audience - 10 am instead of midnight - but the biggest laughs are still big. (Hulk punching Thor!) And everything else was just so awesome.

BUT BUT BUT....



I do believe that Agent Coulson is still alive.

WHY?

I will explain:

1. Fury says at the beginning of the movie that the team needs a reason to come together. Dying Coulson? Looks like an opportunity to give them a reason! Fury is opportunistic and brilliant.

2. We THINK we see him die. But we DO NOT see the medical team "declare it", we just hear Fury say it's so.

3. The trading cards. More proof of Fury's total okayness with manipulating people for their own/the greater good.

4. At the end of the movie, when Hill walks away from Fury, she passes A GUY WITH DARK HAIR IN A SUIT WHO IS SLIGHTLY OUT OF FOCUS and approaching Fury. How many other guys were around that place in suits? NOT MANY.

I really hope you're right; the only thing that makes me think otherwise is that it's Joss Whedon, and he kills people actually-dead-for-good.
